Spoiled Rotten

On July 3rd, Charlie's family rolled into town and we have been playing ever since! They are here until the 27th. We attempted the 4th of July in DC, have been all over DC, Iceman got to go to Kings Dominion, Water Park USA, and Bucsh Gardens, the boys have been to a handful of movies and well we are just being spoiled! It poured rain on the 4th, so needless to say we didn't last long in DC. So after eating lunch at Five Guys and attempting to wait out the rain, we decided to find somewhere else to watch the fireworks. By the time we found somehwere, the water in the air was so dense, that it trapped the smoke of the fireworks, so from where we were we had a smoke show instead of a fireworks show. The boys had fun in the rain though.

We also went to a Nationals vs D-Backs baseball game! We had a lot of fun at the game! Iceman and Goose sat through alomost the entire game. The D-Backs won!!



Aunts and Uncles are the coolest! These two have been so great with the boys. It took Goose a little while to warm up to them, but now both boys wrestle, attack, and jump on M and J at every chance they get!

Aunt and Uncle even taught the boys how to jump on to pillows from the couch. They loved this!! The family took Iceman and Goose into DC, while we were at the hospital and recooperating after Jester's arrival. They went to a live Butterfly exhibit where the butterflies actually land on you, saw dinosaurs (again), went to a Jim Hensen exhibit, toured the White House, went to the Washington Monument, and had ice cream. Goose is a pro at eating ice cream. He ate it all before Iceman was even close to being done! Iceman got to go play for a weekend of Amusement Park fun! We all missed him at home, but he had a blast with G'ma, G'pa, and M and J.
