Record Breaking Snow in DC

I don't know the final amount of snowfall, but we got a lot. It snowed from 11 pm Friday night until 8:00pm Saturday night and we are supposed to get more tomorrow. The park bench in our court yard is burried, we can't see our garbage cans, and tons of the cars are stuck in our alleyway. It is bringing back memories of WY. We did take advantage of the snow and took the boys out sledding, Maverick did take Goose and Jester down the hill, Iceman went on his own and with Goose. Jester froze pretty quick so most of the time Charlie sat in the car with him. But besides freezing we had a fun time.

Iceman is trying to pull Goose to the hill, but fell over about three times before giving up.

Jester really enjoyed his one time down the hill, and then it just got too cold.


It took Goose a couple times down to get used to it. But he really enjoyed it once he got into it.

Iceman loved every minute of it, until it was time to leave. This is a picture of the boys being pulled on the sled, just before it tipped. Jester did not like that it tipped. ;)

Today was a fun day of playing in snow, watching movies, and drinking hot chocolate.
