Shenandoah and Lurray, VA Part 4

One of our favorite parts of our trip was the Lurray Caverns. It was amazing! We were given headphones and had a tour that we listened to that described all the different aspects of the caverns. The boys had their own headsets that gave them a kids tour and Charlie and Maverick had some too. We really enjoyed our experience in the caverns.

During the tour, Jester was constantly trying to touch the walls and ceiling of the caverns. Whenever he touched it he would say, "Got it!"

The glowing rock behind the boys is called "Pluto's Ghost" This was one of the boys favorite parts.
Jester wouldn't leave Maverick's headset alone, he wanted one too.

I wish our camera took better pics of this. It was a little too dark inside, but you can kind of get the idea of what we saw.
This picture is actually a mirror image. This part of the tour was "Dream Lake" The water was so still that the top of the cavern reflected perfectly in the water below. It was an amazing sight!

We loved the caverns!!
