A trip to the zoo

On Veteran's Day, Iceman and Goose had the day off of school, so I asked them what they would like to do. They decided they wanted to visit the zoo. It was a perfect day for it! The animals were all out and active. The lions (all three) were pacing, the gorillas were everywhere, and the crocodiles were very entertaining. We even watched the octopus get fed. We have seen this before, but it was cool to watch again. This is a picture of the boys looking at the Komodo Dragon. It is hard to see because of the glare, but it was walking all over its habitat and came up to the window, right in front of the boys. They loved it!
