Air and Space Museum

On Saturday we went to the Air and Space Museum. This one is not in DC. It is near Dulles airport. It is a giant hanger full of air planes, helicopters, rockets, missiles, and all kinds of fun flying models. The boys loved it. Jester even got to walk around a little bit. At the museum is an example of an air traffic control tower that you can go up in. It is 164 feet in the air. The museum is so close to the airport that you can watch planes land and take off from the tower.

Jester looking out of the tower. Iceman and Goose with a helicopter. They thought this one was cool because it was so small.
Parts of the new Transformers movie were filmed on site at this museum. They are also showing it in IMAX there. So they had a huge Optimusprime figure. Iceman was so excited! We had to get a picture.
Here is Charlie and the boys in the tower. In the background you can see a plane coming in for a landing. Goose was so into the plane and didn't want to miss it so he would not turn around and smile.
What a great daddy! Iceman thought it was cool that they had an astronaut glove he could try on. The astronaut is just the suit.
