Costumes, trees, and big boy bed

Jester came up stairs the other day and asked for help with this costume. He was very excited to be Star Wars. I love that he is a mini clone trooper! Iceman was very proud of himself earlier this week. He climbed to the very top of this tree at his school.

Jester has made the transition to a big boy bed. This was not Charlie's choice. He has mastered climbing out of his crib and so we decided it was time to move him into a bed. The problem with this is nothing keeps him in his room, so we just close the gate at the top of the stairs to keep him upstairs. The last two nights as Charlie and Maverick have gone to bed they have found him here...

He is making progress, the first night locked upstairs, he cried himself to sleep. He also came into our room four times as the night progressed. The second night he tried with all his might to open the gate or get over it but gave up and just hung out at the top of the stairs until he fell asleep. He only came into our room one time during the night. We have him in the full bed with Goose, which I thought would be crazy, but last night they did great. We will see what happends next...
